To Julie Chu of Fairfield, Conn. and Josephine Pucci of Pearl River, N.Y., who made the U.S. women’s Olympic hockey team bound for Sochi. The team was announced New Year’s Day during the annual outdoors Winter Classic, this year held at Michigan State in Ann Arbor, where the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 in a taut, fascinating contest despite the snow (or maybe because of it). Congrats, all.
